The Assistance in preparing academic papers and presentations in English

Global activities will lead researchers into careers. The aim is for both undergraduates and researchers to gain experience on a personal basis, encouraging them to pursue research-oriented careers.

To make a good impression on the global scene, researchers must not only be able to write in English, but also to lecture in English. This program will support researchers to learn the basic skills of preparing academic papers in English and also to give lectures in English.

Correction of the academic papers will be done electronically. Manuscripts by faculty members, PD and RA sent to the secretariat by e-mail will be corrected and returned within a few days.

This program will make use of experience in correcting English papers gained from the 2005-2008 program for “Systematic Scientific English Education for a Global Society” funded by MEXT.
